In Singapore, there are 3 option if you decide to store the cord blood:
1. Singapore Cord Blood Bank, or SCBB. This is a public cord blood which is a national resource for collecting and storing the cord blood from donation. No cost involved and the cord blood can be used by anyone in need.
2. CordLife. A private cord blood bank where the cord blood is stored for own child's use. The cost is about $1400 for upfront fee and $250 per year for storage.
3. StemCord. Another private cord blood bank. The upfront fee is about $1280 and $250 per annual for storage
